Massachusetts’ cannabis delivery program has been in and out of the news recently due to a lawsuit filed by the Commonwealth Dispensary Association (CDA) which represents a large group of medical and adult-use dispensaries. Massachusetts delivery licenses and courier-style licenses are exclusively available to applicants in MA’s social equity program for a minimum of three years which leaves current dispensaries and those in the CDA to wait until at least 2024 to get into the delivery game. After pressure from activists around the country, the lawsuit was dropped. Of course, this is just one of the many headaches in the Massachusetts cannabis industry.
